Tomcat 297 Rider Sweeper

The Tomcat 297 is the toughest sweeper made and the only one with a "Long Life" Baghouse Filter, and a "Direct Throw" sweeping system. The 297's superior run time eliminates the need for additional battery packages. With nearly double the coverage available, the operator spends more time cleaning the carpeting or hard surface.

The heavy steel construction, use of all stainless steel fasteners and polyurethane rollers offer superb protection. The Tomcat 297 easily passes through 32" doors, and into elevators. The operator compartment includes an adjustable chair with armrests, and a tilt steering wheel.
The side brooms are protected under the machine, and the front wheel steering is familiar to operators. The main broom is fully floating, which improves sweeping on uneven floors. The broom is driven by a 1.0 hp motor through a self tensioning belt, and is enclosed in curtains which direct the powerful vacuum and contain the dust.


The broom pressure is maintained at one of five pressure settings by the Central Command II, and our "Uni-Touch" operation keeps it simple. The "Management Lockout" gives you the ability to lockout any adjustment to the broom pressure.
Our filter will typically last the life of the machine, which provides a real savings for the owner. The filter is cleaned at the touch of a button, and the dust is easily removed for disposal in a separate sliding drawer.
